We went to San Antonio and The Alamo back in July, before life got crazy with football and cheerleading practice. We didn’t go overnight, we just went for a day trip. I’m glad that we were able to go, and I know we will go again soon

These are in no way in order, they are just what I have taken so far this year. I am doing a P52 with Paint the Moon on This is Our Life a Let’s do 52 project. It is a … Continue reading
Well Hello There… (This is where I am editing this post, LOL! Apparently I was smart enough to edit the children’s names out of the last couple of pictures but not out of the first ones… That’s what happens when … Continue reading
Hello!
This is my version of week 24′s Sunshine theme. These are the pictures I took of the kiddos right before D-boy went to camp back in June. He was going to be gone for a week and when he got back we would be leaving for Texas, so I took them outside in our backyard and started snapping away.
This was one of those super sunny days, that no matter how I turned them and me the pictures just turned out dark because of the sun. This is where me learning how better to use my DSLR would come in handy, because I was getting rather annoyed that most of my pictures were turning out dark instead of semi light. I also wanted to ask, does anyone photoshop their pictures? And if so do you do ALL pictures or just some of the pictures? I have been noticing that lately the only reason I photoshop my pictures is to lighten them up, I don’t like to fix skin blemishes though. Well without much wait here are the 2-4 pictures from that day back in June.
When life is starting to get the best of you, the best thing to do is check out. Haha, no just kidding the best thing to do is take a break. These pictures that I am about to show you are from a very stressful time, this was the end of the semester for school, the time I was finishing up and finalizing my internship, packing to move across the US to Texas and I was just going nuts.
So when that happens I like to call my little sister up and say, “Whatcha doing?” and the response is usually nothing or homework, LOL! Then that’s where I come back with lets meet ______ (fill in the blank). Those tend to be the best of times, something completely unplanned and last minute. This time I was also able to drag my other little sister, S. Bear, out of the house and she joined us. All 3 of us ditched our piles of homework and just took a day to hang out with the kiddos, as you will be able to see. It was well worth it.

And that my friends, was our unplanned trip to the park/beach instead of doing homework… Well worth it
Have a great day and see/talk to you later!
